LAM, Lo is an award-winning writer-director based in Hong Kong and Los Angeles. But only the cinema in between is where she calls home.
Fiction Shorts
Her 2023 short film “Al Niente” received a Golden Horse Awards nomination, won Best International Short at the St. Louis International Film Festival, and garnered both the Audience Award and Best Screenplay at the Fresh Wave International Short Film Festival. It was also selected for numerous other international film festivals.
Documentary Shorts
Lo co-created, produced, directed, and shot a documentary short series - Food Broker. In each episode of Food Broker, we feature one woman who's marginalized in different cities of the world who uses food to help other underprivileged people.
Upcoming Projects
Her upcoming short film, “The Elephant in the Room,” is a project winner of the International Film Camp 2025, presented by the Asian Film Awards Academy, setting to be released late 2026.
COMMERCIALS
Her commercials (campaigns, music videos, corporate videos) continue to strive to be minority and women-centric.
