LAM, Lo is an award-winning writer-director based in Hong Kong and Los Angeles. She holds an MFA in Film & TV Production from the University of Southern California. Lo is a directing fellow of Golden Horse Film Academy, Kyoto Filmmakers Lab, and Eye Catcher Incubation program. 

Her short film “Al Niente” received a Golden Horse Awards nomination, won Best International Short at the St. Louis International Film Festival, and garnered both the Audience Award and Best Screenplay at the Fresh Wave International Short Film Festival. It was also selected for numerous other international film festivals.

Her upcoming short film, “The Elephant in the Room,” is a project winner of the International Film Camp 2025, presented by the Asian Film Awards Academy.

In women-centric stories, she explores the intricacies of life, identity, sexuality, and alienation through genre-blending cinema.
